My first yoga experience was in the early 2000s, at a gym I was a member of, with Alper Hoca. Those were the years I was teaching.
During my restaurant and hotel management years, I became more interested in yoga. Yoga was very good for me during my busy work schedule.
It was in 2008 and the years after that that I experienced yoga more deeply.
I was a student of Yoga Academy for 3 years.
In 2011, I received Basic Yoga Instructor Training from Zeynep Aksoy.
In the following years, I continued the trainings with even more curiosity and interest.
In those years, I had no intention of teaching. I was taking the trainings with the intention to realize myself, to be good for myself, to relieve my physical, emotional, and mental constrictions. It was good to be on the road, it is still good:)
I attended the Yin Yoga Instructor Training with Berivan Sungur Aslan and my perspective on yoga and my relationship with myself has transformed.
I attended the Vinyasa Instructor Training with Mey Elbi.
The Advanced Instructor Training with Mey Elbi made me realize that the advanced level in yoga is not how difficult poses are, but evolving into more subtle deeper states.
Learning Restorative Yoga from Mey made me discover that the nervous system relaxes with yoga.
Yoga Instructor Training for Pregnant Women with Asiye Sunar.
Yoga for Pregnant Women and Postpartum Yoga Instructor Training with Gizem Onay.
Yoga Therapy Instructor Training with Başak Yüksel.
Every teacher I met was a gift for me.
In the process; I participated in Family Sequence studies with Feride Gürsoy, Fulya Nanba, Zeynep Sevil Güven.
For a while, I worked with a meditation group and had a brief ashram experience in India.
The path led me to share this space that felt healing to me
And I am happy to share…
